What Sets Us Apart

At Tinker Tots our goal is to foster an environment where  your children will thrive.  One of the ways we accomplish this is by keeping our class size small.  Our class sizes will never exceed six children.  This ensures we can give each child the individualized attention that they deserve.  Another way we achieve this is by offering activities that engage your child's mind through sensory play, creative problem solving, and motor development tasks.  We also incorporate arts and crafts into our daily routines so your child can create to their heart's content!

We also offer healthy meals that will not only fill their bellies but fuel their minds.  We serve a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

I am certified in First Aid and CPR for adults, children, and infants so you can feel peace of mind leaving your children in my care.

About Me

My name is Abby Tinker

I am a full-time stay at home mother of two, I have an "almost" two year old and a newborn.  I grew up in the CR/Marion area.  I am passionate about my work with children and enjoy facilitating their learning environments.  As a teen I loved babysitting and worked a job at a daycare center where I took care of toddler age children.    During college I studied to be a Physical Education Teacher and in the last couple of years have worked as part of a Youth Sports Camp at the University of Iowa.

I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, hiking, kayaking, and arts and crafts.
